RC2 -- and spamd timeouts are 5 times more prevalent than RC1 or Post RC1 svn (from last month)

This is NOT a good bug report since all I have is
the epanic log entries and syslog grep....I am only
reporting in case it helps the developers, and do not
expect anyone to try to "help" me with this.

If something was changed that might affect Alarm or
those other reports of SIGCHLD (I THINK this may be
related), then it likely made things much worse.

I was averaging about one per hour ("connection reset"
in my Exim panic log) and now it is at about 5 per hour
-- sometimes 10 per hour.

These do not seem to be exspecially correlated between
the Exim panic log and the SpamD syslog messages,
although I had thought there was loose correlation in
the past.

These in the Exim panic log
2005-08-31 09:56:43 IM3DHX-000DJC-9T spam acl condition: error reading from
spamd socket: Connection reset by peer
2005-08-31 10:03:49 IM3DTN-000CPS-1W spam acl condition: error reading from
spamd socket: Connection reset by peer
2005-08-31 10:04:03 IM3DTN-000CPS-1W spam acl condition: error reading from

2005-08-31 10:26:13 IM3EV7-000DAS-6V spam acl condition: error reading from

And these in Syslog messages:
