Querying problems

Hi
I am facing the following problem
 While trying to fetch data from a column which are stored in the database
as "0,.1,.2,.3,.4,....."
(each record is seperated by a comma)
I get huge data in response to my query......for e.g : 0.1 is retreived as
0.10000000000000000345006756356456456.......................................
...
and the same is the case with the rest of the data except of ".5"

Can anyone suggest me how to get the exact values as in the database ?
