Named references

Hi,

Is there a limit to the number of named references that an excel sheet
can have? I seem to be running into a problem where my excel sheet which
has a large number of named references can't calculate certain formulas
because they contain those references. The result of simply calculations
such as "1*NAMED_REF" appears as #NAME? 

 

Is this because of the large number of references or something else?
