[jira] [Created] (SPARK-16877) Add a rule for preventing use Java's Override annotation

Hyukjin Kwon created SPARK-16877:
------------------------------------

Summary: Add a rule for preventing use Java's Override annotation
                 Key: SPARK-16877
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-16877
             Project: Spark
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Build
    Affects Versions: 2.0.1
            Reporter: Hyukjin Kwon

This was found in https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/14419

It seems using {{@Override}} annotation in Scala code instead of {{override}} modifier just passes Scala style checking.

It might better add a rule for checking this.
