I have an XML document that i like to transform to PDF as some other documents 
transform correctly, one document does not and FOP just prints this message:

[ERROR] ElemTemplateElement error: Malformed format string: 
---

no further text even though there is a colon after "string:"!
I wonder how i should fix this when i don't get the (complete) error message. i 
already compared the xml with a working xml (both have the same xsl) and can't 
find any major differences (same tags, only number of elements vary and some 
element/node values vary).?
