Developing protocols in Tuscany

Hi,

I have a question in relation to the implementation of policies in Tuscany. I am planning to implement a redundancy protocol based on WS-Coordination and would like to use the existing code as a base.

What would be a good package to use as a starting point?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated,

Hi Nick

The policy framework as it stands is a mechanism for declaratively
including pieces of Java code (as the Tuscany SCA Java runtime is
based on the Java language) into the message flow. This Java code is
presented in the form of a message interceptor. You can do whatever
you want inside these interceptors. So, for example, we use them for
security actions, and for introducing logging [1]

Interceptors can be specific to particular bindings, when they are
added to the binding wire by the binding provided, or completely
generic, where they are added to the operation wire based on policy
configuration.

We don't have examples of interceptors for doing coordination but I'd
be interested to understand more about what you want to do.
