Own SERIALIZER - parameter statement ???????

When I use a own Serializer for a SOAP call, have I 
Is the Constants.NS_URI_SOAP_ENC necessary when I make
a SOAP call with a own Serializer (for a special
datatype, for example)???

parameters.addElement(new Parameter("parameter_0",
parameter_0_type, parameter_0,
Constants.NS_URI_SOAP_ENC));

Does anybody knows papers/links etc. where I can get
some more information about writing a own
(de)serializer ???????? Help! The Apache Docu/JavaDoc
is very weak!
