Using quidem tests to validate optimization rules

Hello,

I was looking around to see whether it's possible to use a quidem test to exercise specific optimization rules, but I couldn't find anything. Is there such a mechanism, or should I file an issue to create one?

You are correct. There is no mechanism, and one would be really useful.
