[jira] [Created] (INFRA-6558) Prevent users from creating new JIRAs
in HCATALOG project
Alan Gates created INFRA-6558:
---------------------------------
Summary: Prevent users from creating new JIRAs in HCATALOG project
Key: INFRA-6558
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6558
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Sub-task
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: JIRA
Reporter: Alan Gates
HCatalog has become a part of the Hive project. For obvious reasons we would like to keep the existing JIRAs in the HCATALOG project. However, we'd like to make it so that no new JIRAs can be created in this project. I assume this can be done by creating a new permissions scheme that is a copy of the current permission scheme, setting it so that no one has permission to create JIRAs in that scheme, and then changing HCATALOG project to use that scheme. I don't appear to have permissions to do any of those things.
