I would like to first confirm that this feature is not yet available in
AOO400m3(Build:9702) - Rev. 1503704 of OpenOffice Writer. I am currently
running Windows 7 64bit.

To make clear the steps that I believe Skelem would like to have changed, I
will list the steps involved:

1.Open OpenOffice Writer, and write a bunch of numbers, having at least one
repeated multiple times. Then subscript or superscript one of the numbers.
    a.For instance, 1 0 2 0 3 4 6 7 0 8 0 0
2.Copy the sub/superscripted number to the clipboard
3.Select Edit>Find & Replace (CTRL + F for Windows)
4.Attempt to replace any or all of the repeated numbers with the formatted
  number.
5.The number will be pasted into the replace box unformatted, and
therefore will not change properly. In this case, it would be inputted as a
  normal zero.

To follow up on this issue, I also tried italicized, striked-through, bolded,
and superscript letters, numbers, words, and phrases. None of these acknowledge
the formatting when pasted into the Find & Replace box.
I also tried this in Microsoft Words 2010, which did not acknowledge the
formatting either.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Upon further investigation of this issue, I discovered that there is an option
within both Word and Writer with more features within the Find & Replace box.
>From here, you can set either the find or replace box to have specific
formatting.

This circumvents the need for the user to manually paste at each found instance
of the target text, and Replace All again becomes a viable option. Unless
developers wish to modify the functionality of the Find & Replace box to allow
for pasting of formatted input, this issue can probably be closed.
