[jira] [Commented] (GEODE-25) Geode Cryptography Audit

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GEODE-25?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14612323#comment-14612323 ]

Kirk Lund commented on GEODE-25:
--------------------------------

As stated on http://incubator.apache.org/guides/mentor.html#crypto-audit:

"Before the code base is committed into an Apache repository, the contribution MUST be checked and any restricted cryptography reported appropriately. Read and follow this guide."

All source code granted from Pivotal to Apache for Geode has gone through Black Duck scanning and review which includes cryptography before being committed into the Apache repository. I believe this ticket is already completed.
