How to run a job?

Hi,

the documentation<http://hadoop.apache.org/common/docs/r0.20.0/api/org/apache/hadoop/mapred/JobClient.html#runJob(org.apache.hadoop.mapred.JobConf)>says
I should do this:

JobClient.*runJob*(JobConf<http://hadoop.apache.org/common/docs/r0.20.0/api/org/apache/hadoop/mapred/JobConf.html>
 job)

but JobConf is itself deprecated.

Thank you,
Mark

it seems the 0.21 documentation is updated:

        // Submit the job, then poll for progress until the job is complete
        try {
            job.waitForCompletion(true);
        } catch (Exception e) {
            e.printStackTrace(System.out);
        }
    }

The new API is to use either:

http://hadoop.apache.org/common/docs/r0.20.1/api/org/apache/hadoop/mapreduce/Job.html#submit()

or:

http://hadoop.apache.org/common/docs/r0.20.1/api/org/apache/hadoop/mapreduce/Job.html#waitForCompletion(boolean)
