There are plenty of places where we say user can reach out to the community using IRC channel:
* ./content/fml/about.fml ([https://maven.apache.org/about.html]) [https://github.com/apache/maven-site/blob/master/content/fml/about.fml#L99]
* ./content/markdown/community.md ([https://maven.apache.org/community.html]) [https://github.com/apache/maven-site/blame/master/content/markdown/community.md#L88]
* ./content/xdoc/index.xml.vm ([https://maven.apache.org|https://maven.apache.org/]) [https://github.com/apache/maven-site/blob/master/content/xdoc/index.xml.vm#L118]
Currently, we #maven on FreeNode says it has been moved to Slack. Any mentions of the IRC channel are misleading and should be removed.
