[configuration] dropping @author tags
Hi All:
Like we have elsewhere, I will be dropping @author tags from Java sources.

Yes, all was am talking about is removing @author tags from Javadoc. POM
remains unchanged or will be enhanced.

As I recall, previously they were moved to the pom rather than being
totally dropped.
