[jira] Created: (IVY-360) Add property to control useOrigin default
Add property to control useOrigin default
-----------------------------------------
Key: IVY-360
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IVY-360
Project: Ivy
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Core
Affects Versions: 1.4.1
Environment: All
Reporter: Eric Crahen
Please add a property to allow a user to set the default value of useOrigin.
This is useful as this often has to be repeated many times when you want
the value to be true for everything.
The most common use case for my builds - I can't speak for others, is 1 resolve
and 3 cachepaths. On all of these I need to set useOrigin=true, which is 4 times.
If I could have set a property in my ivyconfig.xml once it would be much more
convienent.

Xavier Hanin commented on IVY-360:
----------------------------------
As a workaround, you can use ant presetdef to set useorigin in only two places (one for resolve, one for cachepath).
