[users@httpd] getting source via subversion
I am using subversion of my own project and it is working fine
internally, but I cannot figure out how to get the current apache
source via subversion. I have tried with and without the final slash
and neither work. I have tried both checkout and export, neither
work. Does anyone have any thoughts? I am trying to get this onto my
Windows machine, here is what RapidSVN is giving me as an error
message:
Execute: Checkout
Error: Error while performing action: REPORT request failed on
'/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default'
REPORT of '/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default': 400 Bad Request (http://svn.apache.org)
Ready
Execute: Export
Error: Error while performing action: REPORT request failed on
'/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default'
REPORT of '/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default': 400 Bad Request (http://svn.apache.org)
Ready

As a matter of fact, I am. I have a transparent squid-cache proxy in
my firewall. I will post a question on the their thread asking how to
reconfigure. thanks!

Sanders,
According to the page you directed me to, the currect URL is:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/trunk
When I try that I get:
Execute: Checkout
Error: Error while performing action: REPORT request failed on
'/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default'
REPORT of '/repos/asf/!svn/vcc/default': 400 Bad Request (http://svn.apache.org)
Ready
Is it a problem with RapidSVN?

Don't check out the top of the repository. If we didn't have
measures in place to prevent you from doing that (a module called
mod_dontdothat), you would end up with a copy of every development
branch and tag of every project of the foundation. To check out the
trunk or a development branch of the httpd source, use the URLs
listed on the following page:
http://httpd.apache.org/dev/devnotes.html
