> I would like to suggest performance improvement for javax.swing.RepaintManager. I suggest using as a offscreen buffer VolatileImage instead BufferedImage. It should gives significant boost on any types of Drawing operations. According to Spec VolatileImage can lost content, but Harmony implementation of VolatileImage based on GDI Bitmap which always keep content.
