    Curious, where does this get run from? Is it automated as part of the build or is there an executable jar that is output somewhere? I like having it, just can't find what artifact it is a part of :-)

> This ticket is to implement a service layer that will be called by the REST layer and will use the providers to perform the desired actions, i.e. for saving a snapshot, it will call the metadata provider to create the snapshot there, and then call a serializer to get the bytes of the snapshot, and then persist the bytes using the flow persistence provider.
