Nothing happened, really. Everything is as planned. This is exactyhow
support looks like. 1.10.15 is one of the bugfix releasez which are the
'support' for critical fixes we promised. Nothing extraordinary here.

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Apache Airflow version 1.10.15 Released
Posted by Kaxil Naik <ka...@gmail.com>.
Hi Aleksey,
I am glad that you like Airflow.
Airflow 1.10.x series will only be maintained for 6 months (*June 17, 2021*)
from the Airflow 2.0.0 release date (*Dec 17, 2020*).
Specifically, only “critical fixes” defined as fixes to bugs that takedown
Production systems, will be backported to 1.10.x.
We have added this in our docs at
https://airflow.apache.org/docs/apache-airflow/stable/upgrading-to-2.html#support-for-airflow-1-10-x-releases
Regards,
Kaxil

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Apache Airflow version 1.10.15 Released
Posted by Aleksey Tsalolikhin <at...@spokeo.com>.
Hello,
Thanks for this release and for such a great software. :)
I had read earlier that Airflow 1.10.14 was supposed to be a "bridge"
release (for 2.0) and there wouldn't be any more development on 1.x.
Just curious, what happened? (High level, please, and "explain like I'm
five".) :-) (I'm a system administrator that supports Airflow, among
many other things.)
Is 1.10.x support still ending in June of this year? (We're on 1.x and I'm
planning our 2.x upgrade.)
Best,
Aleksey
