   I checked, and this is actually already fixed. PR #40005 (merged 2026-05-14) added `_restore_dropped_metric_columns` in `pivot.py` for exactly this, an all-NaN metric column silently dropped by `pivot_table(dropna=True)`, then `rename`/`rolling` post-processing blowing up on the missing column. Happy to reopen if I'm mistaken.
