S3 documentation
Hi,
I just managed to get the S3 interface tested using boto.
I wrote some slides, before moving to the real documentation:

Let me know if you have any comments, corrections.
This was tested with devcloud, using a latest build of master.

The port at which awsapi listens has been changed to 7080.

I can't help but notice that the wiki you mention is on the old wiki. I'd be happy to move your page to the apache wiki like I did for:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CLOUDSTACK/S3+API+in+CloudStack. Let me know.
Also, in the page you mention about the s3tests, I notice that it talks about a git repo at cloud.com. Can you move the tests code to the apache repo and/or update the page.
Finally, I did not see any discussion of the change of port from 8080 to 7080, which I think is pretty significant. Is this part of the hibernate/DAO reimplementation ?

Port change from 8080 to 7080 is not part of DAO Implementation.
It was part of http://wiki.cloudstack.org/display/RelOps/EC2+API+support+in+CloudStack. [Tomcat Deployment changes ].

But it needs to be updated asap to refer to apache repo. The s3tests directory should also be committed to the apache repo.

I was able to access the slides now.
In Slide 4:
There is change in the port now. Awsapi service is deployed in 7080 port instead of 8080.
Slide 10:
Change Port 7080
Please follow this wiki http://wiki.cloudstack.org/display/RelOps/S3+API+in+CloudStack I had updated it.
