[jira] [Commented] (ACE-285) DeploymentCheckTask schedule not set by syncinterval property

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACE-285?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13416998#comment-13416998 ]

J.W. Janssen commented on ACE-285:
----------------------------------

Agreed; the current text is a bit unclear about the tasks that are affected by the "syncinterval" property.

In fact, the whole DeploymentCheckTask doesn't provide much added value to the default management agent. We've to think about whether we should remain including it...

> When the syncinterval property is specified org.apache.ace.managementagent.Activator uses it to set the interval of DeploymentUpdateTask and auditlog, but not of DeploymentCheckTask.
> http://ace.apache.org/dev-doc/design/ace-deployment-strategies.html suggests that syncinterval also affects DeploymentCheckTask.
