Oracle sessID & ConnectionPooling

Right now I'm stuggling with Oracle auditing at User(not Oracle user) level.
However I can't use the ordinary Oracle audit process 'cos I have to record
the physical data(updates, inserts or deletes) along with the User ID and
Action Type.
So I decided to use triggers to monitor the changes to the tables I audit.
But the problem is to make the trigger know which user commits the changes.
I chose to record the [sessid] to the database in the USER table at login in
order to be able to associate each insert, update or delete with an
application, not Oracle user.

And now my questions. As the logged user browses through the system's
screens and actions every time I need the database I get the connection from
the connection pool. Can I be sure that this connection petains just to this
user and the SESSID I write into his table at login time is not shared with
other users who take the same connection from the connection pool. When
browsing through the different screens and actions, is the SESSID changed
for the current user?
Sorry if it's not the right mail forum where I could ask this question.
Thanks in advance for any advice I get!
