Command Line option to Enable and Disable ?
Hello
Is there a way via command line to enable and disable loops controllers? I
have a test plan that has a clean up set of steps that I disable to run the
tests, then disable the test loop and enable the clean up loop. Of course
in the GUI you just right click and select enable/disable...
Thanks

Or you could use a property for the loop count, with default 0, and
set the property non-zero when you want to enable it.

Hi all,
I'm facing the similar situation with this..scenario is like this
fir test1 i need 10 requests(loop controler and http requests) of
total 20 and for test2 i need another 10..What i did was wrote a shell
script to disable the particular requests enabled portion to false in
.jmx
<snip><elementProp name="ThreadGroup.main_controller"
elementType="LoopController" guiclass="LoopControlPanel"
testclass="LoopController" testname="test Loop Controller"
enabled="false">
</snip>
script search the string "test Loop Controller" and change the
enabled="true" to enabled="false"
Though i'm using the command line process of jmeter..Hope this will
give you small clue on this
Thanks

the function is __property
The error you are getting is because Login is going to evaluate to literal
string "${property(Login)} " (since its not defined) your if condition
becomes ${property(Login)} == 1 which is bad javascript.

I added some properties, but cant get it to work...
Added Login=1 to user.properties
Added Login ${property(Login)} to User Defined Variables
Added ${Login} == 1 to the if controller
I get an exception in the log, the IfController: missing ; before statement
(<cmd>#1) one. I checked the JMX file and there was a space at the end, but
I removed it and still get the exception.
Is the way I set it up correct?

if you know it in advance then add an IF controller (wrapping your loop)
that checks a property (where the property is passed by command line)
jmeter 2.5 has setup and teadown threadgroups which might be what you are
looking for -
http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/usermanual/component_reference.html#setUp_Thread_Group
