Summary: Apache2 not start
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.2.3
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: All
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: stefano@mmail.it
I install apach2.2.3 as usual with apt-get. But this time, when I started
apache2 after initial configuration, I encountered this error:
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
* Forcing reload of web server (apache2)...
Syntax error on line 20 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default:
Invalid command 'ScriptAlias', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not
included in the server configuration
[fail]
at the last try I do, I leave the default configuration about apache2.conf,
000-default and other files, but I have again the same error.
I look around internet and bug's report, and the official documentation, but I
don't find anything can help me. All the material I find, are 'bout the behavoir
of apache2 after start.
Thanks in advance

Stefano,
This is not the correct arena to obtain support. This is a place to record bugs
in the Apache products.
>From the sounds of things though, you have an issue with your installation on
Debian/Ubuntu, you should either read the documentation that comes with these
packages or seek help in the one of the Apache support forums:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/faq/
The mailing list, and the IRC channels being the two most common methods.
Cheers,
Tony
