[jira] [Created] (TINKERPOP3-830) process-docs.sh introduces extra white space dependent on console width

stephen mallette created TINKERPOP3-830:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: process-docs.sh introduces extra white space dependent on console width
                 Key: TINKERPOP3-830
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TINKERPOP3-830
             Project: TinkerPop 3
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: build-release
    Affects Versions: 3.0.1-incubating
            Reporter: stephen mallette
            Assignee: Daniel Kuppitz
            Priority: Minor
             Fix For: 3.1.0-incubating, 3.0.2-incubating

We've seen where doc generation will put extra white spaces in some of the code examples. It typically showed this way in "Dedup Step". After playing around a bit, I found that there seems to be some relation between the width of the console that you run {{process-docs.sh}} in and whether or not these spaces show up. When I increased the width beyond the default size (which i believe is 80 based on my terminal profile) the extra spaces go away.

If this can't be solved nicely then let's at least update {{Contributing.asciidoc}}.to reflect this extra manual requirement. Also, it might make sense to include the additional prerequisite for {{stdbf}}.
