[jira] [Commented] (KUDU-733) Fix the javadoc warnings then fail the build on warnings in the future

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KUDU-733?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15280991#comment-15280991 ]

Will Berkeley commented on KUDU-733:
------------------------------------

[~jdcryans]: Could you let me know how you are generating the javadocs and seeing warnings? When I generated with {{mvn compile}}, I saw only one warning, which I've fixed. If I generate through my IDE, I see 100+ warnings, but mostly about missing @param and @return for things like getters and setters.

> I'm not working on this right now, and I'm pushing it to 0.8.0 since we don't need to start breaking builds that close to release.
