[jira] [Updated] (YARN-3360) Add JMX metrics to TimelineDataManager

Jason Lowe updated YARN-3360:
-----------------------------
    Attachment: YARN-3360.001.patch

This adds basic, store-independent, metrics to the TimelineDataManager to provide call counts, entity/event counts, and time-per-call averages. This also fixes a number of unit tests that weren't initializing the data manager properly.

> The TimelineDataManager currently has no metrics, outside of the standard JVM metrics. It would be very useful to at least log basic counts of method calls, time spent in those calls, and number of entities/events involved.
