[users@httpd] Share global data in apache

Hi,
I developed a library which is called by PHP. The
library has a global data cache which is accessed and
updated by the functions in the library. The cache of
the library apparently couldn't be shared among multi
processes. But it seemed to me that apache can't run
as a single process multi-thread model. Is this
true?If so, how should I do in order to use the global
cache in the library?
Thanks in advance for your kindly help.
