FOP fonts

Hello all, 

does anybody have the reference to the font xml metric files (e.g.
arial.xml)? Because of the chracter spacing is not implemented in version
0.20 yet it seems to me that there is no other way how to increase the
character spacing than playing with font metrics file. Or am I wrong?
