Can you reproduce this without using a plugin ( ie. a small java client
or use ant tasks to upload/send data ) ??

Most likely it's an issue with the body ( does it have Content-Length ?). You 
can enable debugging in several places in jk - to see what is sent. ( or use
etherreal ! )
