Artemis file share locking problem

Can't start master broker for file share locking using NFS v3.  There are no other brokers running and the master is waiting for the lock: "AMQ221006: Waiting to obtain live lock".  The broker started without any problem using local directory.  Is it because of NFS v3?  Any work around to solve the issue?
