[jira] Commented: (CASSANDRA-707) Token persistence

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-707?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12801313#action_12801313 ]

Chris Goffinet commented on CASSANDRA-707:
------------------------------------------

My fault:

http://wiki.apache.org/cassandra/FAQ#modify_cf_config

It didn't mention Keyspaces, but I had removed Keyspace from the config before calling a flush when I stopped the node.

> Had a situation earlier where I setup some new machines. I set the inititaltoken to a token, had auto bootstrap off. Started up nodes, started getting writes, then shut them down a few minutes later. Reverted config, inititaltoken was empty and autobootstrap to true, it seems nodes started up, not finding the token and bootstrapping themselves as new nodes.
