   While I would love to see an officially supported Helm chart for a single Kafka deployment, I will mention that Strimzi provides a Helm chart for deploying a Kafka Operator: [https://strimzi.io/](https://strimzi.io/)
   
   The additional effort of supporting an official Helm chart for Kafka may be for only a small user base since an operator already exists. Instead we may consider supporting the incubating CNCF project Strimzi.
   
   I am not part of that project but be moving to it from Bitnami Helm charts.
