As promised/threatened here: http://markmail.org/message/3r2wgtn4mz3z6b73 I'd like to commit an initial implementation of a Sling/Jolokia ((http://www.jolokia.org/)) integration.

Although Jolokia provides an OSGi bundle version, a Sling-specific bundelization would provide authentication integration (similar to how the Web Console provider works).
