Misuse of slack channel

qq….in general, are private vote results supposed to be published on the dev list afterwards (e.g. the vote to combine Committer/PPMC roles).

is not time critical
is possibly useful in retrospect
should be archived
deals with Policy, Practice, and Principle of The Apache Way

I would encourage you to think three times before posting to slack.

Is it time critical?

Does it have any value beyond the next hour?

If not, let's use the dev email channel.
