In config.xml I have the following line for platform="ios":
<resource-file src="strings.plist" target="strings.plist" />

I use cordova build ios command and there is a part where the copying happens:
CopyPlistFile build/emulator/AppName.app/strings.plist AppName/Resources/strings.plist

At this step, strings.plist is copied each time a cordova build ios is triggered. (this is visible when opening the project and going into Resources folder of the workspace - there are multiple strings.plist on Resources) althought is not visible when opening the folder manually - platforms - ios - AppName - Resources

(Actually I am using Ionic but I think this is a cordova issue)
