[jira] Commented: (MYFACES-2504) Google App Engine Support

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-2504?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12828327#action_12828327 ]

Leonardo Uribe commented on MYFACES-2504:
-----------------------------------------

Checking the patch, I have seen a new init param to force myfaces to use jsp 2.0 initializer. My question is why don't create a param with other name that give a better idea about what the patch is doing (force jsp 2.0 initializer). In the patch there is nothing that is specific to Google App Engine, and it could be possible in the future getJspApplicationContext return a valid instance, so in terms of time the patch could be necessary only temporally.
