Help finding right help

Hello everyone.
I'm a little confused as to what I need to read up on so I hoped someone
could direct me if I described what I wanted to do.

Here goes:

I want to run Apache purely for developement (not actually as a service)
on my Linux box.
I would like to have several virtual hosts with names like
http://ivana.dk so that I can develope the site.

I've browsed at the virtual hosts section of the docs but am not sure
what fit's my purpose so some guidance would be great.

Many thanks

How silly! I'd forgotten that, I've done this once before but long time
ago and I couldn't workout why my VirtualHost directives were not
working. Thanks a lot.

I expect I'll be back before I get it right but that's a definate step
forward!

Use name virtual hosts as described in the docs. The only trick is to get
the names associated with the IP address of your server. You can do this by
simply entering them in the /etc/hosts file.

Joshua.
