   I think not. It just waits for someone willing to take a look and fix - seems like it neeeds someeone to take a look and try to resolve it - maybe you would like to take a stab on fixing it? 
   
   This is how it works here - if there are people who would like to work on it and fix it - then good, but if not, the best way to approach it is to try to fix it yourself. Seems like a specific AWS issue, so there is a chance someone who wrote this part will take a look soner or later (but there is no guarantee). Good first issue means that it sounds like a simple one for someone who knows AWS and uses it (like you).
