xdocs help

can some point me to a resource about the
xdocs documentation format (dtd, editors, any
helpful tools)?

(by the look of it) jetspeed uses maven to build. the documentation is 
also generated by maven [1], the format is the very similar to that used 
for most of the rest of jakarta (which is generated by anakia [2]).
