   got it. We usually don't do any backporting unless there is some regression. This should be available in next release. Closing the ticket for now. Thanks for making hudi better for everyone :) Will add an faq entry that until 0.8.0 3 level list format may not be honored/supported. 
   
   Just so I understand correctly: arrays with null vals are working with the patch and setting the config value to true? bcoz, there was a follow up stacktrace pointed out. So, wanted to ensure original issue is fixed with the patch.
