Hi @heinehenning,
thanks a lot for starting the discussion.
I like the idea to integrate more concepts of SparkplugB. Maybe we can do this step by step. 
In the future I could imagine to also adopt the data models for the internal modeling.
For now though, I agree with @bossenti to do a first integration. 
What is still missing for this from your point of view?
