HIVE-22224 hive unable to read timestamp from parquet

hi!

This is regarding https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-22224

There is a PR attached to the ticket, but no action has been taken on it.

Can someone give me an idea as to why?

I would be happy to take ownership of that PR and get it checked in.
