[jira] (MRM-1562) Update to Archiva as OSGi compliant application

Matt Magoffin commented on MRM-1562:
------------------------------------

This ticket seems to have languished for a while now... but having the ability to generate OBR metadata files automatically as a repository changes would be extremely useful (to me, at least!)

As a workaround now I have set up an Apache Karaf Cave instance that proxies an Archiva instance simply to generate OBR metadata XML files. Perhaps some OBR generation code could be pulled in from the Cave project?

> In addition of the OBR support, Archiva itself should be OSGi compliant.
> It means that most of Archiva modules should be OSGi bundles.
