How to Handle - Heartbeat Lost for Services ?

Hi,

I am setting up the Hadoop cluster using ambari but for few services , I am
getting status as Heatbeat lost.

Host is up and running and other services are running on the same host.

How should I take care of this?

Thanks
Krish

Also, you want to make sure that the clocks are sync for all hosts (ntpd
helps).

Hi Alejandro,

Ambari-server is running on that node itself .
Name node , Ganglia server , Ganglia monitor are running fine.

Hi Krish,

Check that the agent can ping the server, and that the /etc/hosts file has
fully qualified names.
Have there been any recent network interface changes?

Thanks,
Alejandro
