To support these two differing behaviors:

assert ['a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'e'].chop(false, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3) == [['a'], ['b', 'c'], ['d', 'e'], [], []]
assert ['a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'e'].chop(true, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3) == [['a'], ['b', 'c'], ['d', 'e']]
