[jira] [Commented] (YUNIKORN-1335) Ability to configure error log in yunikorn-web when using helm chart

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YUNIKORN-1335?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17603853#comment-17603853 ]

Wilfred Spiegelenburg commented on YUNIKORN-1335:
-------------------------------------------------

The error log is written by nginx and the configuration is located in the [nginx.conf|https://github.com/apache/yunikorn-web/blob/master/nginx/nginx.conf] file. I turned off the access log in YUNIKORN-1257.

We should only log at an error level which hopefully does not grow that quickly. Do you still see this growth with YuniKorn 1.1 ?

> I would want to redirect it to stderr (or disable it completely), as it is now it only uses ephemeral-storage (that grows indefinitely and kubelet evicts pod when ephemeral-storage limit is hit) and is largely useless.
