I have another point. Why don't you use animations (gifs) instead of
pictures? For example for JEP 355: Text Blocks. It is easier to imagine how
new feature works for me and it is a good basic for documentation.

Possibly. Have you followed the instructions at
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/JBake-based+solution
?

In particular, the

./gradlew clean
./gradlew preprocessContent --rerun-tasks
./gradlew bake

combination? That should still work AFAIK. Although there's probably
stuff that could work better there. I did start looking at the
rerun-tasks requirement at one point but got waylaid by other things.

Best wishes,

Neil

I simply use the web interface for everything at netbeans.apache.org.

Did some detailing on the page.
https://github.com/apache/netbeans-website/pull/424

I would have liked to test how it finally looks before submitting though
the build seems to be broken

Directory
'/home/netbeans/NetBeansProjects/netbeans-website/netbeans.apache.org/build/generated-bake'
specified for property 'input' does not exist.

Also even if I can fire up the tomcat, I do not know which would be the
URI for the site to check.

Shall I file an issue on these?

Great. This kind of feedback is exactly what's needed in this thread -- any
issue or pull request that anyone is especially happy with and is currently
not in the 11.2 Features page, please speak up so we can highlight it.

Hi I am missing note about "Integrate maven failsafe output into test
runner output" https://github.com/apache/netbeans/pull/1402 which is my
favorit feature in Netbeans 11.2.
Thanks
