[RESULT] [VOTE] Release Apache Sling Launchpad Base 2.8.2

Hi,

The vote has passed with the following result :

+1 (binding): Carsten Ziegeler, Stefan Seifert, Robert Munteanu
+1 (non binding): none

I will copy this release to the Sling dist directory and
promote the artifacts to the central Maven repository.

I think someone already took care of this. Is there anything else that
needs to be done for this release?

Hi,

Thank you Robert! I’ve completed all the steps except for updating the JIRA
[0], which I believe is the final step.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the necessary permissions to update the JIRA.
If someone could help with that, it would be much appreciated.
